Jazz at Lincoln Center, 2005
| On June 6, Robert performed at a fundraiser called "That's Entertainment" at the Jazz at Lincoln Center's 4th Annual Spring Gala. The event was held at the Apollo Theatre in New York City. Accompanied by Wynton Marsalis and his band, Robert sang 'Smile' and 'Kimberly Glide' from his album "The Futurist". Other performers were Wynton Marsalis Septet, Lyle Lovett, Tom Jones, Wynonna Judd, and The Blind Boys of Alabama. Ticket price was $1000 which included the concert followed by a festive gala dinner. Proceeds went to performances and education events produced annually by Jazz at Lincoln Center, which is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to enriching the artistic substance and perpetuating the democratic spirit of America's music.
